THE WOODLANDS, TX – The weather is perfect for an outdoor festival, and The Woodlands has the perfect event to take advantage of. Fidelity Investments The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival takes place along the Woodlands Waterway and Town Green Park all weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. both days, with special early morning access for participants aged 60 and over to from 9:00 a.m.

The festival is filled with fun and friendship… and ART

It’s more than a typical small arts and crafts festival or indoor art convention. For its 17th year, thousands of people will descend on the area – taking advantage of the fresh outdoor air and magnificent views – to visit hundreds of artists and dozens of vendors. This hugely popular and successful event has for years showcased the incredible arts scene that The Woodlands promotes.

Some of the special and spectacular sub-events include:

• Enjoy Stella Artois from four beverage kiosks

• Emerging Artist Booths showcasing the work of seven amazing up-and-coming artists
ARTOPOLIAorganized by the Woodlands Children’s Museum, offers you and your children an artistic adventure
• gastronomic tents with local gourmet restaurants Fielding’s Wood Grill, Russo’s Pizza, Back Table Kitchen, Margarita’s Mexican, Abundant Harvestand more

Plus, during (and after) the festival, visit the stunning giant mural, created by renowned artist Alex Katz, which was completed just in time for this event on the south wall of the Waterway parking lot, just across from the Westin on the Waterway Square. Celebrate immersive and interactive wall art with activities for the whole family from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., including music, giveaways, food carts and more.

Day tickets are $15 ($10 for students) each, or an all-weekend pass is available for just $20 ($15 for students) – children under 12 admitted free.
