MEMPHIS, Tenn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Today and through August 10, bidding is open for an online auction combined with a special concert to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®: the St. Jude JAM presented by Delta Dental of Tennessee and HH Global. “The St. Jude JAM and Auction is an exciting part of the week-long FedEx St. Jude Championship festivities, which do so much to support the rescue mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,” said Richard C. Shadyac Jr., president and CEO of ALSAC, the fundraising and advocacy organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “The generosity of our donors, partners, and event and auction participants helps advance St. Jude’s six-year, $12.9 billion strategic plan, which more than triples global investments to help more than 400 000 children with cancer worldwide each year.
This year, St. Jude JAM will feature performances by Collective Soul frontman and lead songwriter Ed Roland; Scott Stapp, founding member of Creed; and Wally Palmer, lead singer and founding member of The Romantics, all backed by longtime St. Jude supporter and St. Jude house band JAM Sixwire.
